The Federal Polytechnic Damaturu hereby announces to the general public, especially its prospective ND applicants, that it has commenced  post UTME Screening for the 2023/2024  Academic Session, Therefore, applicants are required to log on to the Polytechnic portal (http://www.briateksms.com/fedpodam) using their Jamb registration number as  login ID and 'user' as password,  A screening fee of two thousand Naira should be paid through remita. Candidates that indicate the Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu as their institution of choice, that is first choice and obtain a minimum of cut off mark of 100 and above in the 2023 UTME and also have the required relevant credit passes as contained in the JAMB Brochure are eligible. (A minimum of five credit at not more than two sittings). The Screening Exercise is also open to candidates who did not choose the Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu during their  UTME registration, such applicants are to undergo online change of institutio

Rector Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua has bagged award of an achiever on  humanitarian services.  The award was presented to the Acting Rector by the National Association Of Northern Nigerian Students,when the regional body of the students paid an advocacy visit to the Polytechnic Chief Executive on Girl child education and drugs abuse in the region. The award was received on behalf of Dr. Babale  by the Registrar Muazu Aliyu Iliyasu at the polytechnic Council Chamber.

SSANIP AWARDS FORMER NATIONAL ASST. SECRETARY  The former National Assistant Secretary of SSANIP and one time chapter Secretary of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Chapter Comrade Gambo Ibrahim has received an award of honour  at the last NDC of the union at merit House Abuja. The award was received on his behalf by the Chapter Chairman of SSANIP Comrade Muhammad Umar Babi. The award  has since  been presented to him by the Chairman in company of the Ag. Secretary Comrade  Christiana .Samuel .

The immidiate passed Rector Federal  Polytechnic Damaturu , Engr. Dr. Usman M. Kallamu has been sworn-in as Commissioner in Gombe state and assigned to the  Ministry of Works, Housing and  Transportation. Dr. Kallamu was sworn-in with sixteen others by the Governor of the state Muhammad  Inuwa Yahaya at the Government House Gombe. The occasion was attended by dignitaries   within and outside the state. The Acting Rector, Federal Polytechnic Dr.Ibrahim Babale led a delegation of the Polytechnic at the occasion.
