AG  RECTOR CONDOLED LATE MUHAMMAD KAREGE FAMILY The Ag. Rector Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Engr. Dr. Shettima Umara Ali  has today in company of the Polytechnic staff condoled the family of late Muhammad Karege   who died recently.  Karege, a husband to Hajiya Ya kellu of the Polytechnic Library  died at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital after  brief illness.  The Ag. Rector,  earlier while condoling her consoles her to have the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss as any living soul must taste the agony of death. He therefore, extend the management and entire staff heartfelt condolences.  A prayer was offered by Muhammad Liman for Allah to grant the soul of deceased an eternal rest and Aljannatul firdausi to be his abode. Similarly the Ag. Rector in the company of the Polytechnic staff was also at the residence of Hajiya Hauwa Ibrahim ( Mama Matron) a former staff of the Polytechnic who died on  Tuesday at Yobe state specialist Hospital after a protracted illness, where

TINUBU APPOINTS GOVERNING COUNCIL FOR FEDPOLY DAMATURU President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of members of the Governing council of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu.  This is following the president's approval of the reconsitution of Governing councils of the Federal Government owned Tertiary educational institutions. In a statement  according to the Permanent Secretary office of the Secretary  to the government of the Federation Nnamdi Mbaeri  said the appointment is aimed at  ensuring  effective Management of the tertiary institutions accross the country. The council of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu is to be headed by Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, with Abdullahi Hamza, Professor Ebenezer Akinnanwo, Adaobi Chidera Obioha and Mustapha Zurmi as members.  The councils will be inaugurated later and subsequently undergo retreat.
