EDUCATION MINISTER APPOINTS AG. RECTOR FOR FEDPOLY DAMATURU The Minister of Education Professor Mamman Tahir has approved the appointment of  Engr. Dr. Shettima Umara Ali as Acting Rector Federal Polytechnic Damaturu . This is following the expiration of the tenure of Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua as Acting Rector of the Polytechnic.       In a letter issued and signed by the Director Human Resources of the Ministry Omotayo F. Adeyemi indicates  that the appointment takes  effect from 9th February, 2024   for initial period of three months.        The former Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua has since hands over to the new Acting Rector Engr. Dr. Shettima Umara Ali  and proceeded on his 2024 annual leave.
