TETFUND ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON SKILLS DEVELOPMENT VISITS FEDPOLY DAMATURU

An advisory committee. set up by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund( TETFUND)on skill Development intervention has paid  a visit to the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu. The team led by Dr. Nuru Yakubu was in the Polytechnic to verify and see things  for them meant for skill development. 

Earlier, while welcoming the team the Acting Rector Engr. Dr. Shettima Umara Ali assured the team of the  Polytechnic readiness on the skill development in the areas of Fabrication, electrical installation and computer repairing  to go by what it has on ground.

While contributing during the interaction session the Director Entrepreneur Development Dr. Sani Muhammad called for the sustainance of this  policy on the skill development by the Tertiary Educational Trust Fund( TETFUND) and the National Board for Technical Education ( NBTE)



In his of vote thanks, the Director Skill Development  of the Polytechnic, Dr. Ishaq applauded  the team for the visit and thanks the management for the support it has been rendering to the unit.

BORNO STATE UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR CONDOLED FEDPOLY DAMATURU OVER THE DEATH OF FORMER REGISTRAR The Registrar Borno state University, Zannah M Kashim has today  condoled Federal Polytechnic Damaturu over the death of former Registrar of the Polytechnic, Hajiya Ladidi Haruna  Godowoli who died recently with her two  daughters in a ghastly motor accident alone Keffi- Abuja road. Zannah prayed for Allah to grant the souls of the deceased an eternal rest and Aljannatul firdausi to be their final abode. He also prayed for Allah to give the entire Polytechnic staff the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. The Registrar was received  by the Polytechnic Registrar, Muazu Aliyu Iliyasu and other staff of the insititution.

Former Rector Federal Poly Damaturu sworn-in as Commissioner in Gombe

The immidiate passed Rector Federal  Polytechnic Damaturu , Engr. Dr. Usman M. Kallamu has been sworn-in as Commissioner in Gombe state and assigned to the  Ministry of Works, Housing and  Transportation. Dr. Kallamu was sworn-in with sixteen others by the Governor of the state Muhammad  Inuwa Yahaya at the Government House Gombe. The occasion was attended by dignitaries   within and outside the state. The Acting Rector, Federal Polytechnic Dr.Ibrahim Babale led a delegation of the Polytechnic at the occasion.
