HOLDS INAUGURAL MEETING
The Governing Council Federal Polytechnic Damaturu had it inaugural meeting today.
The meeting was attended by external and internal members.
The extenal members are the appointee of the Federal Government,while the internal members were selected to represent from various groups.
Earler while inaugurating the council, the Chairman RT. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi solicit for their corporation and support for the council to succeed
He also call on them to open to the council' what we want to Know so as to know where the stumbling block is established'.
He said hands must be on deck so as to work together for the betterment of the system.
The council which is seventh in the series has other members :
Professor Akinnanwo Ebenezer from Ondo state
Mrs. Chidera Ada from Imo state
Hon. Shuaib Zirami
From Bauchi state

From Yobe state.

In a related development after the inauguration the council had an interactive session with management, in which the Chairman charged
them to join hand with the council and side aside any difference and work for the institution
Hon.Ibrahim therefore urged to extend to them the support they accoded to the last council.
The council undertakes familiarisation visit to the Departments and unit.
During the visit the chairman disclosed that the visit is aimed seen and assesed what are ground for them to assist.
He therefore called on the management to improve on sanitation and for staff and students to imbibe culture of keeping the environment clean.
