GOV. BUNI PLEDGES TO SUPPORT FEDPOLY DAMATURU

GOVERNOR BUNI PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC DAMATURU.

His excellency the executive Governor of yobe state,Hon Mai Mala Buni CON (Chiroman Gujba) has assured the federal polytechnic Damaturu maximum support to move the institution forward.

The Governor gave the assurance when he received  members of the 7th governing council of the institution,led by the chairman Rt Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi.

The Governor who was represented by his Deputy Hon Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune) thanked members of the  governing council for the visit and congratulated them on thier respective appointments.

He pointed out that  RT Hon Balarabe is a man of integrity, an honest person whose appointment is well deserved. He assured that Balarabe would justify the confidence reposed on him, considering his experience and truck records he left  in Nasarawa as 3 term speaker of the Nasarawa state House of assembly.

The Governor further explained that Yobe state Government is a critical stakeholder in the affairs of the Polytechnic he therefore assured that he would facilitate approval of the request submitted to the state government for the betterment of the children in state,  who are willing to study In the institution.

Earlier in his remarks, the chairman of the council RT Hon Balarabe Abdullahi, used the opportunity to make some requests to the governor which includes lack of  electricity supply to the school since 2022, which seriously affects performance  of students in Thier academic activities.

He equally appealed for adequate security guards and patrol vehicle considering the parameters of  the institution.

He assured the governor that, he would do everything possible in his own capacity to bring more development to the institution.

He solicited for the maximum support of the state government and host community to deliver the best in the institution.
