.ACReSAL donate seedlings to Fed Poly Damaturu 

Agro Chemical Resilience in Semi Arid zone Landscape (ACReSAL) Yobe state project office has donated seedlings of different species to the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu . This is for it tree planting campaign activity  for wind breaking, shelter belt and control of desert encroachment.

However, with the donation symbolic planting of the trees takes  place at the Polytechnic today  Thursday. 

The planting was conducted by the Agting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua represented by the Director Physical Planning and Procurement Engr. Bukar  Hassan and the Project Co-ordinator Mohammed Shehu represented by the ACReSAL Natural Resources Officer  Abba Lawali Geidam and  Sadisu Muhammad Project Accountant.

After the symbolic planting, the Registrar Muaxu Aliyu and other staff of the institution follow suit.

Fed Poly Damaturu Governing Council appoints Acting Bursar  The Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has approved the appointment of Ismail Muhammad as the Acting  Bursar of the Polytechnic. The approval  of the council was contained in a letter signed by the Registrar Muazu Aliyu Iliyasu, after their  Regular  meeting  held early this week, in which it states that he is to act as Bursar of the Polytechnic pending the appointment of a substantive Bursar. New Rector Fed Polytechnic Damaturu takes over

New Rector Fedpoly Damaturu takes over The new Rector,  Federal Polytechnic Damaturu,  Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello has  taken over the helm of affairs of  the Polytechnic from the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua today at the Polytechnic Council chamber. Earlier while handing over to the new Rector,  the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua assures  him of  support  for him to succeed, according to him if the Rector succeed  it is the Polytechnic that succeed. He therefore, called on  the Governing Council, Management and rest of the staff to extend  the support and cooperation they accorded him to the new Rector.
