Acting Rector Fedpoly Damaturu to open a conference on Monday


The Acting Rector Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua is to open the  fifth  Multidisciplinary  Conference of  the School of Environmental Studies on Monday. 

 According to the conference schedule released by the Chairman Local Organizing Committee ( LOC), Surv. Ishaqu Janga ,  the Vice Chancellor Yobe State University  Damaturu, Professor  Mohammed Malah  Daura is to present a key note address, while Dr. Yahaya Kawu Usman  and Arc. Abdulwahab  Edutaiye are to present the lead papers.

The conference is to last for three days and is to  hold at the Polytechnic new Lecture theatre.

New Rector Fedpoly Damaturu takes over The new Rector,  Federal Polytechnic Damaturu,  Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello has  taken over the helm of affairs of  the Polytechnic from the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua today at the Polytechnic Council chamber. Fedpoly Damaturu Rector, appoints Director Legal services  The Rector Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Dr.Ibrahim Bello Bashir  has approved the appointment of the Director Legal Services for the Polytechnic. He is Barrister Sa'idu Mohammed Also, a Chief  lecturer in the Department of General Studies. He studied law at the University of Maiduguri and University of Jos and serves  the institution in many  legal issues. The appointment was made known via letter signed by the Deputy Registrar Staff Development and Training  Aisha Muhammad Yerima on behalf of the Registrar, which states that the appointment is for a period of three years. The letter further  urges the appointee to justify the  confidence Rector's repose in him and bring his expertise for the development of the Polytechnic.
