TENURE OF BURSAR, FEDPOLY DAMATURU ENDS

The Bursar, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Muhammad Muhammad Barau has ended his tenure today. This is following the expiration of the  statutory five year single term for principle officers of the Polytechnic as enshrined in the Polytechnic act (2019).

He hands over to Ismail Muhammad a Chief Accountant, appointed by the Acting Rector, Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua to oversee the  Bursary Department pending the appointment of an Acting Bursar by the Governing Council of the Polytechnic.

Earlier while handing  over, the  outgoing Bursar urged him to ensure harmonious working relationship with his colleagues for him achieved.

In his brief remark, after the handing and 
 taking over,  the  new overseer of the Bursary, called for support and co-operation from colleagues with the view of uplifting  the institution.

The brief occasion was witnessed by the Head of units of the Bursary Department, Hajiya Sherifat Habib ,Hajiya  Zara Garba , Aminu Zakari and Musa Maijawa, as well as Acting Director Audit , Yunusa Adamu Abdullahi and the Head of Information and Public Relations unit,Muhammad Nura Nguru and other staff of the Department.

Meanwhile, the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua has approved the transition of the former Bursar Muhammad Muhammad Barau to the position of Director Special Duties ( Finance).

Fedpoly Damaturu Rector, appoints Director Legal services  The Rector Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Dr.Ibrahim Bello Bashir  has approved the appointment of the Director Legal Services for the Polytechnic. He is Barrister Sa'idu Mohammed Also, a Chief  lecturer in the Department of General Studies. He studied law at the University of Maiduguri and University of Jos and serves  the institution in many  legal issues. The appointment was made known via letter signed by the Deputy Registrar Staff Development and Training  Aisha Muhammad Yerima on behalf of the Registrar, which states that the appointment is for a period of three years. The letter further  urges the appointee to justify the  confidence Rector's repose in him and bring his expertise for the development of the Polytechnic.
