The Acting Rector Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Academic Board, staff and students of the Polytechnic, wish to Felicitate with the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni on the occasion of his 57th birthday anniversary.

Your excellency, the commitment you exhibited in the growth and development of the state  is an inspiration to the up coming leaders. It is on record sir, your approach to leadership, encompassing inclusivity and empathy, has been a guiding light in these challenging times. 

The strategic vision you have in the educational sector, economic development, health intervention, agricultural empowerment as well as your relentless ideal for democratic principles have set  high standard in governance.

As you clock additional year, may this filled with blessings and success to continue to lead the state forward.

Fed Poly Damaturu Governing Council appoints Acting Bursar  The Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has approved the appointment of Ismail Muhammad as the Acting  Bursar of the Polytechnic. The approval  of the council was contained in a letter signed by the Registrar Muazu Aliyu Iliyasu, after their  Regular  meeting  held early this week, in which it states that he is to act as Bursar of the Polytechnic pending the appointment of a substantive Bursar. Until his appointment, he was the one over seeing the Department since the expiration of the tenure of the Former Bursar. Ismail, a Chief Accountant is a member of ANAN and heads various Units of the Bursary Department.

New Rector Fedpoly Damaturu takes over The new Rector,  Federal Polytechnic Damaturu,  Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello has  taken over the helm of affairs of  the Polytechnic from the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua today at the Polytechnic Council chamber. Earlier while handing over to the new Rector,  the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua assures  him of  support  for him to succeed, according to him if the Rector succeed  it is the Polytechnic that succeed. He therefore, called on  the Governing Council, Management and rest of the staff to extend  the support and cooperation they accorded him to the new Rector. Making a remark, after he received the handing over note, Dr. Bashir  expressed his readiness to work as he put it  'I am here to work with a clean mind'  He therefore solicit for the support of the staff so as to  rejuvenate the institution to reach the destination and have a good glory.
