FIKA EMIRATE DONATES BOOKS TO FEDPOLY DAMATURU


Fika Emirate council Yobe state has donated books to the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu. In a letter signed by the Acting Secretary of the council Alhaji Ali Gimba Fika  indicates that the distribution of the donation was approved by the Emir of Fika Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammad Abali Ibn Muhammad Idirissa to the tertiary Institutions, government agencies and individuals in Yobe state.

The books  according to the statement which were obtained from Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammad Saad Abubakar III are from  the works of Sheik Usman  Danfodio 

The consignment was received by the Polytechnic Librarian Abubakar Mahdi and the Registrar  Muazu Aliyu Iliyasu on behalf the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua.

Fed Poly Damaturu Governing Council appoints Acting Bursar  The Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has approved the appointment of Ismail Muhammad as the Acting  Bursar of the Polytechnic. The approval  of the council was contained in a letter signed by the Registrar Muazu Aliyu Iliyasu, after their  Regular  meeting  held early this week, in which it states that he is to act as Bursar of the Polytechnic pending the appointment of a substantive Bursar. New Rector Fed Polytechnic Damaturu takes over

New Rector Fedpoly Damaturu takes over The new Rector,  Federal Polytechnic Damaturu,  Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello has  taken over the helm of affairs of  the Polytechnic from the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua today at the Polytechnic Council chamber. Earlier while handing over to the new Rector,  the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua assures  him of  support  for him to succeed, according to him if the Rector succeed  it is the Polytechnic that succeed. He therefore, called on  the Governing Council, Management and rest of the staff to extend  the support and cooperation they accorded him to the new Rector.
