School of Mgt.Studies, Fedpoly Damaturu relocates to new complex

Dean, Head of Depts  relocates to the  new School of  Mgt. Studies Complex at Fed Poly Damaturu 

Following the completion of the school of  Management Studies complex at the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu,Yobe state  and the  subsequent handing over  of the complex by the Contractor( AL- IBADAT NIG LTD) to the Management of the Polytechnic , the Dean  and two Head, Departments of Marketing and Banking and finance have relocated to the new Complex.

This was disclosed by the Dean of the School Dr. Lawan Cheri in an interview with the FEDPODAM News in his  office at the new complex recently.

He revealed that , apart from accommodating  two Departments the complex has five class rooms,model banking , simulation room( mini Mart) for the Marketing Department as well as two conference rooms.

He further, pointed out that the provision of the complex will bring significant improvement from what the school has used to face as it  has solved a lots of problem.

Dr. Cheri applauded the effort of the management as it is  trying to address one of the challenges that is renovation of existing buildings in the departments of Business Management, Public Administration, Accountancy and Office Technology and Management.

The complex was constructed with the 2021/2022 Tetfund annual intervention and it is the fifth of it kind constructed with the  fund intervention in the institution, others are; the schools of Environmental studies, General studies, Science and Technology and Engineering Technology.

Fed Poly Damaturu Governing Council appoints Acting Bursar  The Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has approved the appointment of Ismail Muhammad as the Acting  Bursar of the Polytechnic. The approval  of the council was contained in a letter signed by the Registrar Muazu Aliyu Iliyasu, after their  Regular  meeting  held early this week, in which it states that he is to act as Bursar of the Polytechnic pending the appointment of a substantive Bursar. New Rector Fed Polytechnic Damaturu takes over

New Rector Fedpoly Damaturu takes over The new Rector,  Federal Polytechnic Damaturu,  Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello has  taken over the helm of affairs of  the Polytechnic from the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua today at the Polytechnic Council chamber. Earlier while handing over to the new Rector,  the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua assures  him of  support  for him to succeed, according to him if the Rector succeed  it is the Polytechnic that succeed. He therefore, called on  the Governing Council, Management and rest of the staff to extend  the support and cooperation they accorded him to the new Rector.
