'Step on your toes', Rector Fedpoly Damaturu tells SERVICOM 

New officers of SERVICOM Unit Federal Polytechnic Damaturu have been urged to 'step on their toes'to change the Polytechnic.

The Rector made this known while inaugurating  the new officers of SERVICOM Unit  in the Polytechnic on Thursday.

Dr. Bashir who was represented by the Director Affiliation, Collaboration and External linkages, Dr. Reuben Omotayo Akinsola, pointed out that,  the change  can be possible by carrying the vision of SERVICOM  to members of staff as Unions are  represented in the unit as Network Officers 

They should therefore brief  their respective congress on what SERVICOM vision and charter are all about, this is by admonition them to imbibe the habit of punctuality, and performance for effective service delivery.

In this regard, he expressed his readiness to support SERVICOM as it is a national agency that covers every public service, where services are rendered.

The Rector indicates that, what  he expect from them is result, with the view of  justifying the confidence repose in them.

The inauguration preceded with the handling and taking over between the outgoing NODAL Officer, Ibrahim Mohammed and the incoming NODAL  Officer, Haruna Abdullahi, where Ibrahim call on the SERVICOM officers to build from where they stopped.

These according to him is by serving the customers, made up of staff, students and visitors to the Polytechnic, urging them to encompasses every complaint including one  from  the management, where it want SERVICOM to come in.

In his acceptance remark after taken over, the new NODAL Officer Haruna Abdullahi assures to follow the vision of SERVICOM as a guide in discharging their responsibilities.

The NODAL Officer also pledges to ensure collaboration and open Communication with stakeholders including parents of students for effective delivery in teaching and learning in the Polytechnic as an institution.
