Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Condoles Yobe State Government on the Demise of Local Government Chairman

On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Academic Board, staff, and students of the Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu, I, Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir, Rector, wish to express our heartfelt condolences to the Executive Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni; the Emir of Yusufari, His Royal Highness Alhaji Muhammadu Zannah Ibn Zakari; and the good people of Yusufari Local Government Area over the demise of the Chairman, Hon. Baba Abb Aji, who passed away recently in Egypt.

The late Hon. Baba Abba Aji was a dedicated leader who served his people with commitment and a strong sense of responsibility. His death is indeed a great loss not only to Yusufari Local Government but also to Yobe State as a whole.

We pray that Almighty Allah grants his soul eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and gives the Governor, the
 Emir, the people of Yusufari, and the bereaved family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable  loss

Fedpoly Damaturu Rector, appoints Director Legal services  The Rector Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Dr.Ibrahim Bello Bashir  has approved the appointment of the Director Legal Services for the Polytechnic. He is Barrister Sa'idu Mohammed Also, a Chief  lecturer in the Department of General Studies. He studied law at the University of Maiduguri and University of Jos and serves  the institution in many  legal issues. The appointment was made known via letter signed by the Deputy Registrar Staff Development and Training  Aisha Muhammad Yerima on behalf of the Registrar, which states that the appointment is for a period of three years. The letter further  urges the appointee to justify the  confidence Rector's repose in him and bring his expertise for the development of the Polytechnic.
