Rector, Fed Poly Damaturu, Felicitates with the Polytechnic Community on the New Year 2026

The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has extended warm felicitations to members of staff and students of the institution on the commencement of the year 2026.

The Rector commended the Polytechnic community for the dedication, resilience, and commitment demonstrated throughout the past year, noting that these efforts contributed meaningfully to the growth, stability, and academic progress of the institution.

Dr. Bashir expressed optimism that the year 2026 would record even greater achievements and urged staff and students to surpass previous performances. He emphasized the need for renewed commitment, discipline, and cooperation in the pursuit of academic excellence, peaceful coexistence, and institutional development.

He further reaffirmed the Management’s commitment to providing an enabling environment for teaching, learning, research, and innovation, while calling on all stakeholders to work collectively towards advancing the Polytechnic’s vision and mission.

The Rector wished the entire Polytechnic community a productive, peaceful, and successful 2026 Academic Year.

Fedpoly Damaturu Rector, appoints Director Legal services  The Rector Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Dr.Ibrahim Bello Bashir  has approved the appointment of the Director Legal Services for the Polytechnic. He is Barrister Sa'idu Mohammed Also, a Chief  lecturer in the Department of General Studies. He studied law at the University of Maiduguri and University of Jos and serves  the institution in many  legal issues. The appointment was made known via letter signed by the Deputy Registrar Staff Development and Training  Aisha Muhammad Yerima on behalf of the Registrar, which states that the appointment is for a period of three years. The letter further  urges the appointee to justify the  confidence Rector's repose in him and bring his expertise for the development of the Polytechnic.
