Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Closes for Ramadan Break

The Federal Polytechnic Damaturu in Yobe State has announced the temporary closure of academic activities to enable students and staff observe the Ramadan fasting period.

The announcement was contained in a statement signed by Muhammad Nura Nguru, the institution’s Information and Protocol Officer. According to the statement, the break was approved in line with the polytechnic’s academic calendar and will run from March 10 to March 22, 2026, with academic activities scheduled to resume on March 23, 2026.

Meanwhile, the Rector, Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir, appealed to members of the institution and the Muslim community to remember the polytechnic, Yobe State, and the nation in their prayers during the Ramadan period.

Fed Poly Damaturu:Notice to applicants for HND and PRE- HND

This to inform all HND 1 and PRE-HND candidates who have applied for admission and are awaiting the third batch Admission that they can now check their  Polytechnic profile and print their admission letters. This announcement is made in a statement issued by the Polytechnic Admission Officer, Isa Dauda, which indicates  that registration should begin immediately, as the application portal for HND and PRE-HND programs will be closing soon. Moreover, all applicants who are awaiting ND supplementary admissions are also advised to check their Polytechnic profiles, print their internal admission letters, and proceed with registration without delay. Fed poly Damaturu releases second batch of admission

> This is to inform applicants who chose Federal Polytechnic Damaturu that the second batch admission list has been released. Admitted candidates are advised to visit any JAMB CBT Centre to accept their admission. Failure to do so may result in the admission being reversed by JAMB, as stipulated. Meanwhile, the Polytechnic admission portal remains open for the next batch of admission into all National Diploma (ND) programmes, both existing and newly introduced. Qualified candidates are therefore advised to visit any JAMB CBT Centre to carry out a change of course and/or institution and to upload their O’Level results (SSCE, NABTEB, NECO, NBAIS, etc.) to facilitate the admission process.
