Registrar Fedpoly Damaturu bags traditional title The Registrar Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Muazu Aliyu Iliyasu has bagged the traditional title of Dan Amar of Nasaru in Ningi Local Government Area, Bauchi state bestowed on him by the Sarkin Nasaru Alhaji Masud Attahiru. However, following the confirmation of the appointment, Alhaji Muazu has been turbaned today with other title holders today Saturday in Nasuru town.     The turbaning ceremony was attended by  people from far and near, including the delegation from the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu  led by Dr. Reuben Omotayo Akinsola Director Affiliation, Collaboration and Linkages who represented the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale. The delegation was  made up of members of the Management, Union leaders, Registry staff led by Hajiya Aisha Ahmad among others. Fika Emirate council Yobe state has donated books to the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu. In a letter signed by the Acting Secretary of the council Alhaji Ali Gimba Fika  indicates that the distribution of the donation was approved by the Emir of Fika Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammad Abali Ibn Muhammad Idirissa to the tertiary Institutions, government agencies and individuals in Yobe state. The books  according to the statement which were obtained from Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammad Saad Abubakar III are from  the works of Sheik Usman  Danfodio  The consignment was received by the Polytechnic Librarian Abubakar Mahdi and the Registrar  Muazu Aliyu Iliyasu on behalf the Acting Rector Dr. Ibrahim Babale Gashua. Upload of 'O' level results into JAMB profile  The Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has observed that , most of the candidates seeking for admission into the Polytechnic have not uploaded their 'O' level result on their JAMB profile. This was made known in a statement signed by the Registrar of the institution Muazu Aliyu Iliyasu, which  indicates that candidates seeking admission into the Polytechnic without the upload cannot be assessed for admission. He also charged  candidates who changed institution of their first choice to the Polytechnic to upload their 'O' level result in any JAMB CBT Centre nearest to them for onward process of admission.  He further advised Candidates to comply as failure to do so, the person will not be considered for admission into the Polytechnic, the statement added. Following the completion of the school of  Management Studies complex at the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu,Yobe state  and the  subsequent handing over  of the complex by the Contractor( AL- IBADAT NIG LTD) to the Management of the Polytechnic , the Dean  and two Head, Departments of Marketing and Banking and finance have relocated to the new Complex. This was disclosed by the Dean of the School Dr. Lawan Cheri in an interview with the FEDPODAM News in his  office at the new complex recently. He revealed that , apart from accommodating  two Departments the complex has five class rooms,model banking , simulation room( mini Mart) for the Marketing Department as well as two conference rooms. He further, pointed out that the provision of the complex will bring significant improvement from what the school has used to face as it  has solved a lots of problem.
